AC Cugini Roma 2004 Girls
In 2012, Italian professional club RES Roma Calcio Femminile, the women’s side of powerhouse AS Roma, approached AC Cugini President Fabio Diletti to develop an all girls soccer academy in the United States and serve as its Technical Director. In 2013, AC Cugini launched RES Roma USA.

AC Cugini, founded in 2000 with programs in Virginia, Maryland, and Italy, is an official Italian scuola calcio (soccer academy) sanctioned by the Italian National Olympic Committee - Comitato Olimpico Nazionale Italiano Servizi (CONI Servizi) and the Italian Soccer Federation - Federazione Italiana Giuoco Calcio (FIGC). AC Cugini is a member of US Club Soccer, US Youth Soccer, Virginia Youth Soccer Association, Maryland State Youth Soccer Association, Eastern Development Program League, National Capital Soccer League/Washington Area Girls Soccer League, Old Dominion Soccer League,Central Maryland Short Sided League, and Suburban Friendship League. In 2013, AC Cugini affiliated with professional Italian women's club, RES Roma Calcio Femminile and professional Italian men's club Brescia Calcio.
