The 2002 Boys Rush are on a roll.  This past weekend they justified their selection to National League by clinching First Place in EDP League 1 South.  They did so with an emphatic 7-0 victory over MD Rush.  Last weekend they were victorious over the #3 team in the nation and MD State Champions, Takoma Park Friends, winner of this prestigious League previously.  They inflicted upon them only their 3rd loss in over a year of top 10 soccer.  Along the way to this unprecedented EDP Championship for a team from DE, they also vanquished several top 20 opponents.  This league is one of the best in the Nation, and the boys accomplishment is significant.  They won it in style too, playing attractive attacking soccer and scoring 32 goals in 7 games against top notch competition.  Great job and we wish them continued success as they travel to North Carolina and Disney next month to represent our Club, the State, and the Region at National League.
