In 2018, AC Cugini decided to move away from sponsoring teams in the club in leagues in the Washington DC metro area and instead to focus its programming on providing training and coaching services and player development consulting to teams and clubs in the Washington, DC, metro area and throughout the USA as well as enhancing its award-winning international programming in Italy by offering playing and cross-cultural opportunities to U.S. and Canadian players age 21 and older in addition to youth players. AC Cugini also provides player development consulting to clubs in the Washington, DC, metro area by offering a player development program sanctioned by the Italian National Olympic Committee, which consists of professional training at EVERY session for boys and girls ages 5-8.
